Our Approach
We believe in a holistic approach to counselling, addressing not just the symptoms but also the underlying causes of your concerns. Lauren Hamilton is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies, including including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), Schema therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, psychodynamic and somatic. Our approach is tailored to meet your unique needs and goals, ensuring that you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the counselling process. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Counselling does not have to be always sitting in a room facing each other talking, which is the typical “talk style” therapy. Therapy can take all different forms using art, sound, bodywork so it’s about what works uniquely for each person.
